VABOA is an accredited Valais digital specialist in the Digitourism programme. We shape a concrete project with you and assess whether it could qualify for support. Digitourism alone decides whether to award funding.

How does funding work?
Up to 75% of eligible costs excluding VAT, capped at CHF 2,000 per application and CHF 4,000 per business per year. You enter the application yourself on the Digitourism platform; as an accredited specialist, we define the scope and offer with you. After approval and delivery, you pay the invoice and request reimbursement.
What may qualify – and what does not
Suitable projects may involve digital strategy, SEO/GEO advice, connected systems or analytics. Under the regulations, new or rebuilt websites, digital content production, hardware and digital advertising campaigns are not supported. Digitourism assesses every project individually.

Who qualifies?
Generally, businesses based and registered in Valais that offer tourism products or services to visitors. Associations, unregistered sole traders and mixed-activity businesses are assessed case by case. Destination organisations, tourist offices and municipalities are generally not eligible.

There is no entitlement to support. A financial contribution also depends on the available annual budget.

How much financial support can Digitourism provide in Valais?
Support may cover up to 75% of eligible costs excluding VAT, capped at CHF 2,000 per application and CHF 4,000 per business per year. Contributions are rounded down to CHF 100 increments. Approval is not guaranteed.
Which tourism businesses can apply for Digitourism support?

Is VABOA an accredited Valais digital specialist?
Yes. We define the project scope and offer with you. The tourism business enters its own application on app.digitourism.ch; Digitourism reviews it and makes the decision.
Can I receive support for more than one digital project?
Different projects are possible within the CHF 4,000 annual limit. The same project or type of project cannot be funded more than once for a business. Each application is reviewed separately.
